Our Methodology

Each watch that enters our workshop follows a deliberate process designed to identify issues accurately, address them appropriately, and verify results thoroughly. This methodology has developed over 18 years of working with mechanical movements.

We begin with careful examination under magnification, noting worn components, unusual wear patterns, and potential issues beyond the initial concern. This assessment informs our recommendations — sometimes a watch needs only cleaning and lubrication, other times more extensive work becomes necessary.

During repair, movements are disassembled systematically, components cleaned in appropriate solutions, worn parts replaced with correct specifications, and reassembly performed with proper lubrication at each friction point. Timing and regulation follow, adjusted across multiple positions over several days.

Documentation accompanies every stage — what we found, what we did, what parts were replaced, and how the watch performs after service. This record serves both as accountability and as useful history for future maintenance.
